Competition: NOW CLOSED – Ten Days In A Madhouse

Jack Studio Theatre: Win a pair of tickets for 14, 15 or 16 June

If you’ve never been to Jack Studio Theatre, or Brockley Jack (the name seems to change depending who you speak to), then you are missing a treat. This little pub theatre in South London is one of those hidden gems that people often overlook simply due to location. But it’s remarkably easy to get to really.

But a lovely theatre is only as good as the shows it puts on its stage. Luckily they always seem to deliver, and its a venue we’ve often given 4 and 5 star reviews to when we get along.

Which brings us nicely to our latest competition. So It Goes Theatre‘s Ten Days In A Madhouse will be performing at the venue from 14 June to 2 July. And we are in possession of a pair of tickets for any of the performances on the first three nights, being 14, 15 and 16 June. Entry is as easy as we can make it, which you can find out all about further below. First though, we should tell you about the show.

Ten Days In A Madhouse

“I said I could, and I would. And I did.”

1887, New York. Reporter Nellie Bly, the pioneer of investigative journalism, fakes “insanity” and is admitted to an asylum to expose the treatment of its patients. Her report shocked the world and shone a light on those society had chosen to forget.

Ten Days in a Madhouse is a warning to us all – reminding us that true power is not measured by how institutions impose authority, but by the compassion they show, especially in moments of crisis.

From the award-nominated creative team that produced Moby Dick (awarded 4 stars by us), So it Goes Theatre brings Nellie Bly’s incredible true story to life with irreverent humour, immersive sound design and spectacular video design.

Wearing provided headphones, the audience will be transported inside the head of Nellie Bly as she undergoes a terrifying and life changing journey.
