Lambeth Fringe Q&A

Thank you for your interest in participating in this year’s Lambeth Fringe Q&As. While this is the first year we have done a specific Q&A for Lambeth Fringe, we have done these for Camden Fringe for the past three years with great success.

If you’re already here, you will likely know all about Everything Theatre. But in case not, here are a few reasons why you should get your show seen on this website:

  • We are one of the leading supporters of fringe theatre in London, having been doing so for 16 years.
  • In 2025, we published 985 reviews, while this year we expect to hit the 1,000 mark.
  • We also published 282 interviews, features and articles, the majority for fringe theatre.
  • Our 2025 readership averaged over 25,000 per month (314,996 for the whole year), while in 2026, we’re hitting even higher numbers.
  • We currenly have over 6,000 followers across our social media channels (or 17,000 if you include X, but like many, we have decided to cease using that channel).

To make our work possible and sustainable, we have introduced a small administration fee of £15 per Q&A. While Everything Theatre remains committed to being an accessible platform, we must cover the ongoing costs of maintaining a site of this scale. All proceeds will be re-invested into the website and supporting tools, enabling us to explore new ways to further champion fringe theatre moving forward.

Additionally, 10% of all income goes into our newly established ET Creative Kitty. This will then be awarded as part of our Etties Live event (being held on 21 February 2027) to an individual or creative team to help to fund and develop their work.

In addition to the basic £15 fee, we also offer an enhanced advertising package for £35. This includes:

  • The Q&A
  • 5 Instagram posts
  • 2 Facebook posts

Hints on how to Ace Your Q&A

We want to help you shine! A great interview doesn’t just sell tickets; it tells a story. Use these tips to make your responses as engaging as your show.

1. Quality Over Quantity

  • Don’t answer everything: While we provide many options, you don’t need to answer them all.
  • Choose your “Core Questions”: Consider answering both questions in Section 1, then pick possibly four further questions that you feel most passionate about from Sections 2, 3 and 4. This allows you to give deeper, more meaningful answers rather than rushing through several. Then finish it all off with a couple of the quick fire silly questions in the last section.
  • Watch the word count: Aim for a total between 600 and 1,000 words across the whole form to ensure we have enough “meat” for a full feature.

2. Show, Don’t Just Tell

  • Paint a picture: Instead of saying the show is “funny,” describe a specific moment that always gets a laugh in rehearsal.
  • Be specific with the “Silly” questions: Remember to tell us why you gave the answers to these questions, use them to further build a picture of what people can expect if they come to see your show.
  • Connect it back: Always link your answers, even the quirky ones, back to the themes or energy of your production.

3. Practical Logistics (The “Copy-Paste” Method)

  • Work offline first: Use the question sheet to draft your answers in a separate document.
  • Check your links: Ensure your booking link and social media handles (Insta, Bluesky, Facebook) are correct before pasting them into the Google Form.
  • Don’t send this sheet back: Once you are happy with your 600–1,000 words, copy and paste them into the official response form. We can only accept responses via the form, as this allows us to easily convert them into a publishable article.

4. The “Fringe” Factor

  • Embrace the Bare Minimum: Audiences love hearing how Fringe creators get creative with limited resources. Be honest about your DIY set solutions or unconventional props.
  • End with a Bang: If there is something unique about your journey that we didn’t ask, use the “Missing Question” at the end to leave us with a memorable final thought.

Submitting Your Answers
