Poe’s classic gothic tale is let down by a sketchy adaptation that strips away all semblance of drama.

With inventive design and staging, a speedy pace and great atmosphere, this is an enjoyable show for this time of year.

An extremely ambitious and creative production which doesn’t quite hit the spot. Some great horror moments and even better dramatic scenes, but unfortunately these are few and far between.
