Drama
A staple for us and for many if you fancy a more traditional play. When we first started Everything Theatre it was specifically to review drama. We’ve branched out over the years, but it will always be a favourite of ours.

The Sonneteer, Landor Theatre – Review
A gem that still needs a little polishing to make it truly shine.
-
Macbeth, Abney Park Cemetery – Review
Enjoyably gory production of a classic piece.
-
Leviathan, Hackney Downs Studios – Review
This stunning combination of music, visuals and performance takes you on a journey to discover new worlds of theatre.
-
Red Ladies, Southbank Centre – Review
The potential is there, but it needs more polish and cohesion.
-
An Innocent Man & Whodunnit, The Space – Review
A fun, entertaining production with a great cast. Well worth a look.
-
The Tempest, Cockpit Theatre – Review
A dynamic, engaging and fast-paced show which would be particularly good for a younger audience.
-
Invincible, St James Theatre – Review
Some of the circumstances that both couples find themselves in don’t seem entirely believable, however this is a very enjoyable production that will make you laugh out loud.
-
Much Ado About Nothing, Russell Square Gardens – Review
A beautifully judged production with the added twist of a swing band and trapeze artist.
-
Desire and Pursuit, Etcetera Theatre – Review
A brave attempt at tackling the big themes of sexuality and religion, but these one-man plays miss the mark.
-
Daytona, Theatre Royal Haymarket – Review
The second half of the play is by far the better of the two, however the production is worth seeing for the incredible acting by Oliver Cotton and Maureen Lipman.
