Podcast: Save The VAULT Festival

Bec Martin, Head of Progamming at VAULT Festival, on the festival’s future.

The recent announcement from VAULT Festival about its future cannot have passed anyone by! But just in case you did miss it, they announced that this year would be the final one in their current home. The decision was not in their control, but made by the venue landlord. You can read the full story here.

But do not fear, this is not the end of this wonderful festival that has become a mainstay in our calendar, kicking off the year in fringe theatre nicely. But it does mean they need to raise some money to help the transition to wherever they will be based for 2024 and beyond.

Keen to do our little bit to help, we invited them to a chat to discuss the challenges they are facing as they seek a new home, and how people can help. (Hint, go and see a show this year, and if you can donate a few quid to their fundraising.)

And as Bec Martin is the Head of Programming, we couldn’t let the chance pass by to ask her about some of the festival highlights, and how people can go about applying for 2024.

You can make a donation towards their future here.
