This is one of Williams’ lesser produced works – you’ll probably need to be a fan of the writer, or of the theatrical epoch that the work typifies, to enjoy it.

An enjoyable revival of an old classic with tunes you’ll be whistling on your way home, but definitely not everybody’s cup of tea.

A lovely show, although the ludicrous plot, including pantomime villains and leprechauns, is hard to embrace. The audience, which had a very wide age range from the very young (including a baby), loved it.
