Rotterdam, Trafalgar Studios – Review
An outstanding play full of brilliantly drawn characters and natural humour that easily holds the attention.
-
Operation Love Story, King’s Head Theatre – Review
Promising work but not really a ‘destination piece’; it is worth watching as part of a body of work (which to be fair, is the intention).
-
Family Values, The Space – Review
A frustratingly brilliant production showing the remains of a very complicated family.
-
The Miserables, Etcetera Theatre – Review
This is a very funny show and I was laughing throughout, I left the theatre with a big smile on my face.
-
Squirm, Theatre503 – Review
A definite work in progress. A solid idea, but at the moment the show doesn’t give you enough reason to care about what the central character is going through.
-
Drawn In, King’s Head Theatre – Review
A hilarious one-man mime transforms seamlessly into a poignant two-hander about creation, power and dominance in this thought-provoking, ingenious production.
-
Different Class, Barons Court Theatre – Review
A cast of strong actors in play about what it means to be young, in love, and afraid to say so, but misses the mark.
-
Wild at Heart, Canal Café Theatre – Review
Definitely worth a visit, just to see what it’s all about. This show will leave you wondering what on earth has just happened.
-
Coriolanus and Du Liniang, Peacock Theatre – Review
This is a stunning production but at over 3.5 hours long, and in such a hot theatre, it was difficult to stay engaged throughout.
-
The Travelling Sisters, Etcetera Theatre – Review
Talented performers and good ideas, which will benefit from a little polishing.
