Drama
A staple for us and for many if you fancy a more traditional play. When we first started Everything Theatre it was specifically to review drama. We’ve branched out over the years, but it will always be a favourite of ours.
-
Great Britain, Theatre Royal Haymarket – Review
A gripping production which leaves the audience with food for thought, but might be a bit too close to the bone for some.
-
Kingmaker, St. James Theatre – Review
This play marks a good start but I would have liked to have seen a more developed storyline.
-
Mistaken, Etcetera Theatre – Review
We are in expert hands with actor William McGeough; he delivers these four monologues with warmth and individuality.
-
Shoot, I Didn’t Mean That & The Last Days of Mankind: The Last Night, Tristan Bates Theatre – Review
Funny, thought-provoking theatre which reflects upon the catastrophes of war whilst posing some difficult questions about the brutality that lies within us all.
-
What Is Future I?, Tea House Theatre – Review
A sweet and charming evening – which is matched with delicious cake on offer!
-
Feral, Battersea Arts Centre – Review
A truly talented company, with each member possessing multiple and impressive skills in their crafts. A multi-layered and memorable production by a company worth seeking out.
-
When We Embraced, Battersea Arts Centre – Review
A lesson in the perils of talking to people, instead of with them. Unfortunately all this talk did not succeed in communicating truth, or offering insight.
-
Solo Two, Battersea Arts Centre – Review
An honest yet unconventional look at human connections.
-
Odd Shaped Balls, Etcetera Theatre – Review
A searing one man show - Chris Sheridan stuns in this moving play about a gay rugby star.
-
Fred and Madge, Hope Theatre – Review
A dated play that spends much time stating the obvious. An interesting analogy that hasn't been worked out as much as it deserves.
