About The Crick Crack Club

Founded in 1987 by world-class performance storyteller and sector pioneer, Ben Haggarty, today The Crick Crack Club are the UK’s busiest and boldest performance storytelling programmer and promoter.

They create exuberant, intelligent, wild, weird and wonderful events in London, Bristol, Dorset, and across the UK, that draw people from all walks of life into a shared experience and the stunning content of international fairytale, folktale, myth and epic.

Their legendary live events and amazing audiences are at the heart of what they do. Featuring outstanding performance storytellers and the very best new talent, their annual public programme of shows, festivals, and residencies can be found in theatres, at festivals, in castles, caves, village halls, rose gardens and derelict warehouses.

About the show

With Sheema Mukherjee and Raoul Neumann banging out the carols; stories from Tim Ralphs, Ben Haggarty and Steph Brittain; disorders of service, chaotic sing-alongs, and Christmas tree shrines – this is the Crick Crack Club Christmas Carol Show!

They have untangled the fairylights and polished their best baubles ready to fill your stockings with festive frippery, glee and a touch of magic. Join in to unwrap a teetering pile of winter-wonderlandish fairytales; eat mince pies; drink mulled wine; exorcise any hint of Scrooge; skid down the icy lanes of the very best Christmas carols, and most of all, sing your heart out!

Break out your fave Christmas jumpers; tinsel-up to excess, and bring your Christmas wishes to add to the shrine. The Crick Crack Club supply the mistletoe – you bring the kisses.

Participation: This is a sing-along carols event… however, you will not be expected to sing in tune or to know any of the words!

All profits from ticket sales will be donated to support the awesome work and campaigns of the Museum of Homelessness. So if you’re lucky enough to win, do consider passing on the good fortune with a kind deed for the season! The Museum of Homelessness accepts donations here.
