About the show
In her debut solo show Medico, Italian NHS intensive care doctor and award-winning comedian (yes, she really is both), Dr Stefania Licari offers a hysterical and moving exploration of the medical world, immigration and what it means to become British.
Told through the eyes of her alter-ego Dr Anna LaRosa (previously seen in online series My Doctor’s Advice), Medico marries physical gags, ribald humour and true stories from the medical frontline with Stefania’s own experience as an Italian doctor in the UK. You may laugh or cry, but one thing is guaranteed: you will never look at doctors in the same way again.
Medico stars Stefania Licari and is co-devised and directed by Chris Head.
About Stefania Licari
Stefania Licari is an actor, comedian, writer, and doctor working and living in London. As a doctor, she has been published in several well-known medical journals, has worked in large trauma centres such as The Royal London Hospital, and recently spent the COVID-19 pandemic working extensively in intensive care and in accident and emergency departments. Away from medicine, Stefania has trained at East 15 Acting School, École Philippe Gaulier, and the Grotowski Institute, and has performed on stages across the UK.

The show plays at London’s Museum of Comedy for three nights; 30 June, 1 July and 2 July.
All performances start at 8.30pm.
Tickets are £10.50 (plus £2.25 booking fee)

Terms & Conditions
The prize is for two tickets to any performance of Medico at Museum of Comedy on either 30 June, 1 July or 2 July. No alternative dates or cash alternative is available.
Competition closes at 12am (noon) on 11 June 2022. Winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries, and will be notified within 24 hours. The winner has three days to accept the prize, provide contact details and confirm which date they wish to attend, otherwise a new winner will be chosen at random. All additional expenses are the responsibility of the prize winner. Editor’s decision is final.
