Win tickets to Chicken Shop! – Closed

We’ve teamed up with the Park Theatre again this week to bring you another cracking competition! Enter now.

We’re delighted to bring you the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to Epsilon’s production of Chicken Shop at the Park Theatre. The tickets are valid for any performance until 28 September 2014, subject to availability. Naturally, you can’t transfer or exchange the tickets, and we won’t be offering a cash alternative!

As always with our competitions, there are no catches – you simply complete the entry form below by 6.00pm on 6 September  2014 and you’ll be entered into our prize draw. If you’re the lucky winner you’ll hear from us a few days later. It really is that simple!

Sadly, this competition is now closed!

ABOUT CHICKEN SHOP

Epsilon return to Park Theatre, following the success of their 5-star production Skin Tight.

A Dark and Twisted Coming of Age Story.

Hendrix is growing up. Or at least he’s trying to. But he’s sick of his mother and her constant preaching on the virtues of an organic lifestyle. And he’s sick of her girlfriend, a twenty-something stunner who winds him up relentlessly. But most of all he is sick of the bullies at school who target him viciously, thinking if his mum is gay then he must be too.

In a desperate attempt to prove his masculinity, Hendrix enters a very adult world and gets far more than he bargained for. He meets Luminita – a young girl enslaved into an unbearable life. She finds comfort in Hendrix; a chance to connect, to be seen as a human being. Though from completely different worlds, their secret friendship grows in snatched moments in a sordid room above a Chicken Shop.

This World Premier of Chicken Shop by Anna Jordan, 2013 winner of Bruntwood Playwriting Prize, was one of the final ten plays in the Soho Theatre’s Verity Bargate Award 2011. Since then it has been in development with the Soho Literary team and was on the long list for the Royal Exchange Theatre’s Bruntwood Prize 2011.

Performance Dates: 2-28 September 2014
Venue: Park Theatre, Clifton Terrace, London, N4 3JP

About Everything Theatre

Everything Theatre
Founded in 2011, Everything Theatre started life as a pokey blog run by two theatre enthusiasts and – thanks to the Entry Pass Scheme for 16-25 year olds – regular National Theatre goers. Today, we are run by part-time volunteers from a wide array of backgrounds. Among our various contributors are people who work in theatre, but also people who work in law, medicine, events, marketing and even psychiatry! We are all united by our love for the London theatre scene.
