Evocative and primal. Sappho truly lives through Ms Grove.

The idea of this show is great - showing women in theatre throughout history. However in practice it didn’t quite come across and I left wondering what the intended message was.

William Shakespeare Directed by Jessica Ruano ★★★★ Pros: Great rendition of Shakespeare’s comedy classic. Enthusiastic performances and superb direction. Jane Montgomery Griffiths Directed by Jessica Ruano ★★★ Pros: A five star execution by actress Victoria Grove, who performs with both vigour and grace. Cons: Difficult to follow without any background knowledge.
