West End/ SOLT venues
We’ve expanded our definition of West End to include those big venues that whilst not physically in the West End, budget wise are very similar. Think of places like Southbank Centre or Royal Albert Hall. Generally these are the venues that are members of the Society of London Theatre and eligible for all the big award ceremonies. Whilst we don’t attend lots of these shows, now and again it’s fun to savour the glitz and glamour they can offer.

Deep and Dangerous

A deliriously unhinged masterpiece— you’ll laugh, cringe, and beg for more.

Review: The Line of Beauty, Almeida Theatre
A production about denial that seeks to prove the cost of beauty in a world built on appearances.
-
Review: The Maids, Donmar Warehouse
A visually stylish The Maids that captures Genet’s obsession with image, but loses the dark tension that makes his play truly unsettling.
-
Review: Black Sabbath – The Ballet, Sadler’s Wells Theatre
A heavy metal ballet that is a fan-pleasing tribute.
