Emma Cornish

Emma is a final-year Human Geography student at UCL, specialising in environmental governance in cultural institutions. She firmly believes arts and sciences should work together to empower people to stand up for their rights and demand climate and social justice for all. She grew up spending every weekend covered in stage makeup and glitter, dancing her way through pantomimes.These days she prefers an audience role. Emma is powered by theatre that’s political, punchy, and just the right amount of unhinged. The wackier and more radical, the better. She’s a firm believer that the world revolves around arts and culture, no matter what the government budget might say, and she’s an advocate for theatre that’s real, raw, meaningful, inclusive and imperfect.
