Have an opinion you want to air about the state of the nation’s theatre? Then guest blog for us!
Our team has written about portrayals of mental health in theatre, the treatment of younger audience members and about whether fringe theatre really is ‘fringe’ theatre. We’ve also written about how to find your feet in the London theatre scene, and some more general ‘hints and tips’ pieces. Well, we want to do more of this. A lot more, in fact. So we’re opening the floor up to you. If you have an opinion and you fancy writing it up, then get in touch with us today and – if the idea is a good one – we’ll publish the finished product for you!
WHAT MAKES A GOOD IDEA?
We are looking for strong and well-argued opinions that will generate debate. If you fancy writing something more light-hearted – like a set of handy tips and hints for the capital’s theatre goers or something similar – then that would be welcomed as well. If your idea is completely different, then get in touch; we’ll happily publish anything that is interesting, well-written, useful and/or thought-provoking.
WHY WRITE FOR EVERYTHING THEATRE?
Everything Theatre is one of London’s fastest growing theatre websites with an established brand, reputation and readership. This would be an ideal role for people looking to get into journalism – it will be a great way to hone those writing skills and get your name out there. Anything that we publish will be attributed to you, so really what we’re offering is a platform for debate and for you to get your work published. It’s a win-win scenario really!
HOW TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL
Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to introduce yourself and provide an outline of what you would like to write about. If you have any past examples of your work, then please include these as well, but prior published work is not a pre-requisite.
