Well, this certainly was a week of fantastic shows! Not only do we have two 5-star productions in the lineup, but a myriad of excellent 4-star shows also made the cut. All innovative in their own right, I simply couldn't cut the list down to fewer that six shows this week... Enjoy! 1. Orpheus at Battersea Arts Centre – ★★★★★. Until 17th May. Our only 5-star shows in this week’s lineup, this production of Orpheus at the BAC combines Greek myth with French Jazz. Django Reinhardt becomes the eponymous Orpheus, in a show awash with music, dancing, acting and singing. Our reviewer had tears in her eyes at the climax… in her words: “If you have any love for theatre and performance it is imperative you go and see this play.” 2. ...

1. Privacy at Donmar Warehouse – ★★★★. Until 31st May. Privacy is director Josie Rourke’s latest offering to be played at the Donmar. This is a dystopian production which focuses on some of the biggest modern day fears.
